The Alsek Renewable Resource Council also provides local input to manage forest resources, as mandated in Chapter 17 of the Champagne Aishihik Final Agreement. Most recently the Council has helped create a draft Strategic Forest Management Plan for the Champagne and Aishihik Traditional Territory. Future ARRC work on forestry will include:
